1. Are you happy with your finished work on this project? Why or why not?
Yes, I am pretty much happy with my finished work on this project because I think I did a very good job with it, the scenes, and explaining what cyber bullying is and what you should do if you are being cyber bullied although the African American Police Officer Tom has VERY SHORT TERM MEMORY.

2. What would you change about your project if you could do it again?
If I could do this project again I would change nothing because I like it alot how it is even with the short term guy, it makes it seem as though it fits sometimes.

3. Which parts of the project did you like the best and which did you like the least? Why?
I like the beginning scenes before the police officer shows up because the mom starts to say her lines again but then its cuts off and its fits. I also like the scene where the three cyber bulliers cry becasue the girl in the middle does this crazy thing with her tounge which is hilarious and how easy it is to record. I didnt how for the Go animate the charactors just starte straight and how you can only have them do one action at a time because it makes you add more scenes and when theyre just taring there and they have to talk to someone who isnt in the same angle as them then it looks like theyre dumb.

4. What would you like to change about the project assignments if you were the teacher? Why?
If I was the teacher, I wouldn't like to change the project assignments. I thought they were fine as they were. I had no troubles doing what needed to be done. Although if we still had to do the storyboard I would take that out. I didn't like doing it because I thought it was a waste of time.

5. What was the most important thing you learned during this project? How did you learn it? Why is it important?
The most important thing that I learned during this project was how horrible cyber bullying is because of what people do because of it. Also bullying in general is just wrong, kids commit suicide because others have to be able to feel better about themselves. I learned this by doing research on the topic I chose which was cyber bullying. It is important because it shows us and helps us understand how wrong any form of bullying is and what the consequences are.

Working with Digital Images

Web 2.0 application Spelling with Flickr is cool. I think it would be even cooler is you got to choose a certain type of letters to put in the word or a type of backround like a fire. Other than that its very useful and I will probably use it later in life. If you want to use it too go the link.

Peace Scrapbook

Making my peace book was very easy. Putting the pictures and quotes into the book was the easiest. It got harder towards then end but was still fairly simple if you followed the directions. Dont forget to click on my title so you can see it!

Prezi

Throughout using prezi I have found it to be cool but at the same time annoying. I saved it and then came back to it the next day and clicked somewhere to start typing and it made that text bigger then the rest and I couldn't change it. I think that its worse than Google Presentation and Microsoft PowerPoint because i think that its harder than those. Its much simpler to use the other two.

My video was fun and easy to do. Id like to do more things on this website but be able to do what I want to.

The website is a good website and its something that I would do in my freetime.

Shopping Spree

My shopping habits consisted of spending the most money in the cars category. I only bought 1 item in that category and is was a 1993 Ford RV CAMPER. I spent the least amount of money in the food category where I bought multiple packets of Big League Chew.

Change

The message of the video about change that I just watched which is in this post is that is you want things to change, then you should go do it yourself and not just wait for others to go do it. If you want something done, that includes change such as getting your neighborhood to watch out for each other. All you have to do to make that happen is do it. Go out and try to do the things you want done.

Nicks Final Project

This is my final project for tech class. It is a 1 story house with a kitchen and living room. The couch in the living room is a pull out couch so if anyone needed to sleep there they could use the couch. The reason there is no roof is because that's how you have to see in the house. In this house I have made new things that I havent made before such as a lamp, a desk, a stove, a refrigerator, a nightstand, a microwave, a toaster, a trash can, and a kitchen sink. It was not very difficult and was actually quite easy.

Dream Room

Building the dream room was very easy. The hardest part for me was moving the TV and speakers into the room. The most helpful tool for me while building this was the line tool and orbit tool.

Should we define someone by their actions or their intensions?

No we should not define someone by their action or intentions because your basically judging someone without knowing them. I can use myelf as an example because sometimes in Manitou when I'm skateboarding people give me dirty looks and such. They most likely consider skaters punks because of the image some of them give off by knocking over trashcans or do stupid stuff. If you get to know them well enough then id say yes, you may judge them like if they are a really smart student and good person and then do something very bad.

Go Green

While building my house I messed up about 5 times. That may not be many but the times I did they were usually pretty bad. I didn't know what to do only a couple times but I got through. Building this house was fun and entertaining. I thought that it was going to be a lot harder.

The most challenges I faced were when I didn't understand the videos or when I changed my style. When I changed my style and couldn't go back i had to redo all the way from building columns which might not be that far back but still.

All of the tools in Google sketch up were tools that I used for the first time right then. The most usefull tool would probably be the orbit tool because if you didn't have that then how would you view the other side of what you create.

A thin line

I think that the website A thin line is all about teenagers sexting, and doing wrongful things. Also about relationships and the right thing to do in them. It could be about just a teenagers life too. I don't think the website is trying to tell you what to do, just give you things that you probably shouldn't do.

I got a score of 100% which I'm not surprised by. I think that I have a pretty well understanding of what not to do and what to do within relationships, sexting, and others making fun of you.

I feel very confident with my knowledge about this subject so I don't think that i need to learn much more about it.

I can improve my like to reduce the digital drama by not getting into other peoples depression things unless I know I wont get sucked into it.

Cyberbullying Ruins Lives

Overall, I think that cyber bullying can be prevented by telling someone when it starts so you don't get to far into it. You could tell a teacher, parent, or close friend.

I do not know anyone who has been a victim of hurtful email messages or postings on a social networking site.

If some cyber bullies me or someone I know then I will tell a parent or teacher.

Essential Learning Definitions

Digital Citizenship: I think that digital citizenship means to use the internet appropriately and don't be trying to starts fights or anything like that on the internet.

Creativity: I think that creativity means to have a wide imagination and always be open to new ideas and adding on to things.  








Communication: I think that communication means to talk to others and never just close someone out, actually listen to them.









Decision Making: I think that decision making means to be able to make decisions on your own and not always have to have other peoples input to help you choose. Also to not let other people choose for you although you may not always be making the right decision so sometimes input can be a good thing.

Cyber bullying

1. What do you think of when you hear the word “Cyberbullying?”
            When I hear the word cyberbullying i think of bullying on the internet because Ive heard of it before. I think that cyberbullying is wrong just like any other type of bullying. There was a story on the news about a man who was bullied and made fun of and then made a live video cam that people could watch and comment on. He then killed himself while people were watching and typing lol and haha. So I personally think cyberbullying can be a crime.

2. How is Cyberbullying like being bullied in-person and how is it different?
             Cyberbullying is like being bullied in-person because your still making fun of them and being mean. It also still has the same effect on them as it would in real life. You still hurt their feelings and what not. Its different though because in real life it could turn out worse and end up in a fight that can be physical. that can also lead to murder. Also bullying in real could involve alot more people like if a person and a group of friends see someone to bully then they will all most likely laugh and make fun of the bullying victim.

Dive Into Freedom

From the first moment we are revealed to the world, we are agreeing to live inside boxes, family rules, school works, work days, what not. Tie up for a better appearance. Walls put up. Held back. The boxes seem to contract more and more. But who or what laid these borders on us? What if we were just unaware and afraid of a completely new world beyond the borders? Jump up and down. Run from one end to the other with caring about nothing. You can do anything and you can be anything open your eyes and look into infinite possibilities. Cast off the fear, sprint toward the tip of the cliff and jump! You will know then the true definition of freedom....

This video makes me feel happy because of the images and the music. I feel calm when i watch it. 


I think that it just makes that TV look cooler. Without the TV it would be better though. In comparison to my ending it was totally different. Personally I though that it was going to be about a car. Overall thought it was a good commercial.

Be Nice or Leave

I think the statement be nice or leave means that if your here and your not being nice then you should be here at all. Also that you should be nice all the time. If someone treats you rudely/meanly then they should leave because you probably didn't do anything wrong. But if you are not being nice and if there's a reason or not then you should probably go somewhere to cool down and then go enjoy the rest of your time.
